We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team based in Newmarket, Auckland. We are a multi-disciplinary design practice that is involved on many diverse commercial and industrial projects, if you appreciate a challenge and enjoy working with a talented team then we would very much like to hear from you.
We are offering an opportunity to you as an Engineer to work with our team in a role that includes:Preparation of preliminary design concepts,
Providing design through the developed and detail design phases,
Providing producer statements,
Carrying out seismic assessments,
Working with our other engineers, in-house structural Revit technicians and architectural team
Liaising with external consultants, councils and other territorial authorities ,
Carrying out on-site observations and attendance to contractor queries,
Be part of the technical development of our team including providing design collaboration with our other engineers.
The talent that we are looking for to join our team is:To have a Bachelor of Engineering degree from a NZ university, preferably with 1st Class Honours.
To have a minimum of 5 years proven structural engineering experience on commercial projects in NZ. Civil engineering experience will be an asset but not essential.
To be keen to obtain CPEng, if not already chartered, and develop further as an engineer
To relish problem solving and finding design solutions

To have good communication skills.
To be living in NZ and eligible for permanent employment in NZ; with a NZ passport or with residency or current work visa
